The DIY Community has come together to help bring awareness to childhood cancer.

While one out of 285 children in the US will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20, and childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 19, childhood cancer research only receives 4% of the NIH annual budget. Those numbers speak volumes.

Members of the DIY community, Kell at @simplyhandmade and Oanh at @dangdiyhome, know all too well the difficult and challenging journey childhood cancer presents, as both their sons are battling cancer.
